Changing Your Registered Agent

Either way, you need to get it done. There are two ways to do it, and we’ll walk you through each.

Filing Your Annual Report with Changes
If you haven’t filed your Annual Report for the year, you can just make the change of agent on your report. Your filing fees stay the same:
- LLC Annual Report Fee: $138.75
- Corporation Annual Report Fee: $150
How to file your Annual Report
You can file your Florida annual report online. You will need your Entity Document Number, found on your annual report filing notice, or you can search the Division of Corporations records; your Federal Employer Identification Number; and a valid email address.
Online payments can be made with any major credit card.
Alternative payment options for your Annual Report
To submit a check or money order as payment, you’ll need to file online and print a Department of State Check Payment Voucher, which must be sent with your mailed check or money order within 10 days. Checks or money orders must be made payable to the Florida Department of State.
You can also pay through your Sunbiz E-File Account.
Filing a Statement of Change
If you’ve already filed your Annual Report this calendar year, then you’ll need to file a Statement of Change of Registered Office or Registered Agent with its cover letter.
Unfortunately, these forms can’t be filed online. You’ll need to mail or hand deliver them to the appropriate office.
