What is a Commercial Mail Receiving Agent?

A Commercial Mail Receiving Agent (CMRA) is a business or individual (authorized by the U.S. Postal Service) that accepts mail on behalf of its customers, specifically for redistribution or forwarding mail. CMRAs can also provide clients with a physical address you can list on any public-facing documents—from state forms to business cards, it’s entirely up to you.
